Tea Cozy

Update Nov 10, 2012: The pattern is now available as a download from Ravelry.

The pattern for the simple tea cozy is finally finished.Hopefully in the next few days I can get the pattern linked to on Ravelry and Craftsy.

                                                    Simple Tea Cozy

Materials
o Bulky weight yarn
o J hook
o Tapestry needle

Stitches used:
o Ch - chain
o Hdc – half-double crochet

NOTES & TIPS:
- Pattern note:
o This pattern was designed to fit a teapot with the spout positioned in the middle of the teapot. The handle is more flexible since that’s the end where to two sides are sewn together.
- Sewing piece together:
o This piece is crocheted flat and then sewn together (leaving a hole to accommodate the handle of the teapot).
o I whip stitched the two ends together, leaving a hole for the handle.
